Chapter V
A USEFUL MINISTER • IN CHURCH • THE CLIMAX
SummaryTom is distracted by many things during the monotony of church; causing him to pull out a beetle, which is found by a dog. The beetle then pinches the dog, startling it and causing it to run around the church, land on the owners lap, and be tossed out the window. This event caused the church to break out in laughter, but also disrupted the sermon.
